We would like to thank our seniors for being a part of the CSI High School for International Studies World Percussion Ensemble and Drum Circle for four years. Using the lessons Ms. Morris and your fellow drummers have taught you over the years, we hope you go out into the world and make a difference. You all have achieved and will achieve greatness in life, so work hard and stay motivated while upholding the principles of the criticism free zone!

Thank you I.S.51!
We had a wonderful time adding these middle schoolers to our community drum circle. Though we were all somewhat shy and uneasy at first, we quickly came together with an upbeat, colorful spirit. Teaching the middle schoolers how to be a facilitator was at first very nerve-wrecking for them, but as they continued to participate in our activities, it seemed as if they found a new home. Together, we all learned lessons on how to be a good leader, a good listener, and lessons in music, such as how to find and keep a rhythm, how and when to play harder and softer, and "if you can say it, you can play it". It was such a great feeling to see faces who were very apprehensive at first turn into huge smiles at the end. Not only did we gain new members of our drum circle community, but we also gained a new family. Special thank you once again to Mr. Tripo, please come back any time!

As October comes upon us, spooks and scares are always sure to follow. Using our inner halloween spirits and musical creativity, we were able to put together a 'Mash'
of a performance worthy of Dr. Frankenstein himself. Always proud to embrace our goofiness, our World Percussion Ensamble gathered together different characters from all different worlds in an effort to recreate a classic Halloween music piece. Watch as Rocky Balboa, Chewbacca, Spiderman, an assortment of wild animals and many more work together to perform one of the most well known songs of the Halloween season, 'Monster Mash'.
